John Scotti started his career in the car industry at an early age. At the age of 15, he became the youngest technician to obtain the 1st class card from the Comité Paritaire de l'Automobile de Montréal. A few years later, he founded his company with the desire to always offer an exceptional range of luxury and old vehicles. Over the years, hard work made his name a legend.
In 1977, John Scotti, with the help of his father, founded the company John Scotti Automotive Ltd. Initially, it was a small mechanic shop dedicated to sports vehicles, established in the north of Montreal. John Scotti, who wanted to expand his business, was already thinking of the next step to expand his offering.
In 1979, John Scotti opened and ran his first dealership. This was a Lamborghini store located east of Montreal. Relocated west of Montreal in 2014, this dealership is one of the oldest in the world and the oldest still in operation in North America.
John Scotti continued what he started and rapidly developed his dealer network. The range of vehicles and brands on offer was expanding over the years with the opening of new dealerships throughout Montreal. Lotus in 1984, Volvo in 1987, Alfa Romeo in 1990 and Subaru in 1996 were added to the group's catalog.
In July, our founder and chairman, John Scotti, sponsored the Canadian Stock/Super Stock Series within the PCRichard.com National Open Series.
